Blom Gerhard

Gerhard Blom was a Danish painter, born in 1866 in Helsingør and died in 1930 in Birkerød. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. In 1888 he went to the Artists' Studies School under Kristian Zahrtmann and he was a student there for several years. He debuted in Charlottenborg in 1892 and since then has also exhibited here at the fall exhibition for artists. Abroad he attended the exhibition in Chicago in 1893, in Munich in 1904 and in Paris in 1906. His favorite subjects were genre performances, portraits and cityscapes. (RKD, Wikipedia)
