Wolfers Anne

Wolfers, Anne (Antwerp, 1949) – Printmaker, watercolorist, and draftswoman. Trained at La Cambre in Brussels. Qualified as a teacher of visual arts. Her work includes figurative compositions. Characterized by a loose, spontaneous line. From the press: "Her figures seem to float in an atmosphere of dreams and concentration, inviting meditation rather than mere contemplation." She became a printmaking instructor at the Uccle Academy. Works acquired by the French Community (1976–1982). Exhibited highly sensitive, intimate watercolors and prints at the Pierre Hallet gallery in Brussels in 1999.
