Noordhoek Wim

Wim Noordhoek (Willem) was a Dutch artist who was born in 1916 in The Hague and who died in 1995 in Waalwijk. He was a photographer, graphic artist, draftsman, painter, watercolourist, pen artist, pastelist, etcher and woodcarver. He was educated at the Free Academy (The Hague) and was mainly an autodidact. He taught at the Academy of Art and Design St. Joost (Den Bosch) Leiden University
Faculty of Arts, New Academy (Utrecht), the Kölner Volkshochschule. His subjects were landscapes (as a genre), village scenes, street photography, genre, portrait, group portrait, still life, topography, mountain landscape and advertising photography (RKD).
