Mannaers Werner
Werner Mannaers is a Belgian artist who was born in Schoten in 1954. He lives and works in Antwerp. His paintings are in oil, acrylic and other media. Over the last 30 years, Mannaers has become a key figure in the world of contemporary painting, influencing many important artists. His works are in private and institutional collections, such as the Municipal Museum of Contemporary Art (S.M.A.K), which presented a major solo exhibition of his work in 2008.
