van den Bergh Vikke

Philippe Victor van den Bergh, in short Vikke van den Bergh, was a Belgian artist born in Mechelen in 1876 and died in Paris in 1953. He was a painter, enamel reader and restorer. He studied at the Academy in Mechelen and in the Bonnat workshop at the "Ecole des Beaux-Arts" in Paris. He was a perspective teacher in the Delecluze workshop in Paris and also taught at the "Ecole du Louvre".
