Van Soom Hippolyt

Hippolyt Van Soom was a Belgian artist (1856-1922). He worked in Antwerp. Realized landscapes, among other things.
Exhibited at the Salon in Ghent in 1874 (The banks of the Lesse in Anseremme and Bosrand in the Dinant area), at the Antwerp Salon in 1879 (Heidescape in Kalmthout),
at the 'Exposition Générale des Beaux-Arts' in Brussels in 1881 (View of Scotland and Heide in Kalmthout) and in 1884 (Chute d'Ulvik; Norvège). Listed in some auction catalogs as born 1856 and died 1922. (BT)
