Van Peteghem Paul

Paul Van Peteghem is a Belgian artist, born in Lokeren in 1940. He is a graphic artist and etcher. He received his education at the Academy in Wetteren, under the guidance of Honoré Demy and Antoon Bogaert. He began his career as a painter but soon opted for etching. He has produced etchings of old streets and alleys, picturesque corners of Ghent, and also old farmhouses, some trees, still lifes, and (folk) figures. He was a co-founder of the Art Circle Heusdine. He published the art portfolio 't Patershol. He is active in Destelbergen. Paul Van Peteghem is listed in Two Centuries of Signatures of Belgian Artists. (Piron, BT)
