Van Overbeke Edith

Edith Van Overbeke is a Belgian painter, born in Zelzate in 1935. She has created landscapes and still lifes, among other things. In 1956 she was selected for the Provincial Prize for Painting of the province of East Flanders. She was a member of the Youth Syndicate for Arts and Letters in Bruges. She is listed in the Lexicon of East Flemish painters-sculptors (D. Van Ryssel). Her work 'The park in Uccle' was auctioned in 2007 by the Zaal Campo & Campo in Antwerp. (Piron, BT)
