Van Osta Dominique
Dominique Van Osta is a Belgian artist, born in Uccle in 1957. He is a painter and draftsman. He trained in monumental painting at the Academy in Brussels. His style was strongly influenced by Picasso. In his works he interweaves playful abstraction and figurative elements into one whole. He mainly finds his inspiration as a result of trips to Africa and Poland. From the press: “His lyricism is fueled by generous colors and great simplicity of line.” (1996). In 2000 and 2001 he exhibited up to five times a year in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, among others. His work was purchased by the French Community.
