Van Den Broeck Jean-Pierre
Jean-Pierre Van Den Broeck was a Belgian artist, born in Sint-Agatha-Berchem in 1914 and died in Sint-Agatha-Berchem in 1989. He was a painter, draftsman, pastelist and gouachist. He was trained at the Academy in Molenbeek under the supervision of Van Gucht and Strebelle. He realized landscapes, forest views, figures, portraits, nudes, interiors and still lifes. He never exhibited his works. Professionally, he was a fashion designer. He is mentioned in BAS II and Two centuries of signatures of Belgian artists. (Piron)
