Van De Wouwer Roger
Roger Van De Wouwer was a Belgian artist who was born in 1933 in Hoboken and who died in 2005. He was a painter, draftsman, graphic artist and illustrator. Education at the Academy in Antwerp (1948-1951) and at the Academy in Brussels (1951-1952). Exhibited for the first time in the Galerie La Proue in Brussels in 1963. His works can be abstract, figurative, informal, realistic, fantastic or surrealistic. Was a member of several surrealist groups in Belgium. (PIRON)
