Van de Boel Annie

Annie Van de Boel was a Belgian artist-painter, born in Elen in 1925 and died in Genk in 2011. She studied painting with the Ursulines in Maaseik and received private lessons from Jeannot Peeters in Hasselt. She is best known for her colorful floral still lifes. She has exhibited in Brussels, Antwerp, Maaseik, Hent, Henk, Elen, Lanklaar, Ostend and Knokke, among others. She taught evening classes at the Academy in Molenbeek. She worked in Dilsen/Elen.
