Detilleux Servais

Servais Joseph Detilleux was a Belgian artist born in 1874 in Verviers and died in 1940 in Brussels. He was a painter, sculptor and draftsman. He studied at the Liège Academy and at the Brussels Academy. He preferred landscapes, cityscapes, nudes, figures and historical subjects. Worked as a painter in a realistic style with a luminist undertone. (PIRON)
