Schmal Oskar

Oskar Schmal (Brno 1904 – 1976 Vienna) was an Austrian painter and graphic artist. He studied in Prague, Berlin, and Paris. Among his mostly small-format figurative works, his delicate silverpoint drawings were particularly appreciated. Schmal was a member of the Vienna Secession. In 1964, he received the Vienna City Prize for Fine Arts.
