Schellinck Edgard

Edgard Schellinck (pseudonym: LINCK) was a Belgian artist, born in Sint-Gillis (Brussels) in 1925 and died in 1999. Draughtsman, illustrator and poster designer. Studied at Sint-Lukas in Brussels. Worked as a draughtsman for Via Secura and the High Council for Road Safety. Known for his humorous drawings, including a goose board game about the Liberation in 1944. In the final years of his life, he illustrated the feuilleton La bataille de Ransbeek n’aura pas lieu, published in Le Crennequinier. Listed in BAS II and Twee eeuwen signaturen van Belgische kunstenaars. (Piron, BT)
