Rouschop Anny
Anny (Annie, Anna) Rouschop was a Dutch painter, born in Maastricht in 1929 and died in 2015. She studied at the Academies in Brussels and Etterbeek and worked in the studio of Louis Henno, whom she later married. In 1962 she held her first solo exhibition at Galerie Le Régent in Brussels. She painted genre scenes, figures, landscapes, still lifes and flowers. Her works convey a sense of romance, emotion, serenity and at times a touch of melancholy. In 2005, about ten works by Louis Henno and fifteen by Anny Rouschop were auctioned by Van Rockum’s Auctions in The Hague (Netherlands). She is listed in BAS I and Two Centuries of Signatures of Belgian Artists (Piron, BT).
