Bosschaert Renaat

Renaat Bosschaert was a Belgian artist who was born in 1938 in Ostend and who died in 2006 in Bruges. Figurative painter, draftsman, illustrator and graphic artist. Education at the Academy in Bruges. Pupil of Luc De Jaegher. Printed his etchings and woodcuts with his own hands and also produced bibliophile editions. As a painter, he realized hyper-realistic cityscapes of Bruges and Lier and compositions leaning towards surrealism.
