Cambier Pierre Eugène

Pierre Eugène Cambier was a French artist born in 1914 and died in 2001. He was a draftsman, painter and watercolorist. He brilliantly captured French cityscapes, waterways and landscapes in his watercolors. He made his watercolors in a smooth impressionist style. Cambier first began exhibiting his artworks publicly at the Salon des Independents in Paris in 1948. His work was featured in the annual Salon d'Automne exhibition between 1953 and 1960 and later at the Galerie Urban in Paris, the Galerie O 'Hara in London and the Galerie Sothman in Amsterdam. Cambier continued to work and paint in Paris, where he also taught drawing and illustration to budding artists. His masterful display of light, color and architecture from Paris continues to attract collectors today. His works are exhibited in collections all over the world.
