Michel de Wandeleer is a Belgian artist who was born in 1950 in Wilrijk. He is a painter, sculptor and graphic artist. Studied painting and sculpture at the academy of Brasschaat (awarded the abbot's prize for sculpture). Studied ceramics at the academy of Berchem. Painting studied at the Hoboken Academy. His works are characterized by the bright color palette and expressionistic design. As a member of the LGBT community, he has recently made a series of special paintings in which the man and the love between men are central. (jsw).
