Schilderijen van de Belgische kunstenaar Martin Wallaert kopen

Wallaert Martin

Martin Wallaert is a Belgian artist who was born in Deinze in 1944. He is a painter and draftsman. Training at the Academy and the Higher Institute in Antwerp. Realized portraits, figures, animals, daily scenes and landscapes. Evolved from post-expressionist landscapes around 1980 to intimate scenes, for which he found inspiration in his immediate surroundings, his wife and his children. He spreads his admiration for nature in quick, spontaneous tests, and a tenderness that never degenerates into sentimentality. His realistic design often comes across as animistic. From the press: "M.W. paints lively and uncomplicated, averse to complicated soul problems. In his first period, colors flowed into each other without any strict delineation. A few years ago, the contours became more precise, the colors lighter. Now he lives in the Provence and returns to his former style." (1992) Mentioned in BAS I and Two centuries of signatures of Belgian artists. Source: Piron
