Bradley Martin

Martin Bradley is a British painter and lithomaker. He was born in London in 1931. He attended St Paul's School, but fled to the sea aged 14, where he served as a cabin boy. He held his first solo exhibition in 1954 at Gimpel Fils, then exhibited at Gallery One and the Redfern Gallery in London. Martin Bradley is known for abstract and symbolic artworks, influenced by the calligraphy of China and Japan, as well as Buddhism, to which he converted. (Wikipedia)
