Boffé Maarten

Maarten Boffé is a Belgian artist, born in Tienen in 1948. He is a fine painter and student of Willem Dolphijn (1976-1977). He founded the Antwerp Fine Painting School in 1985. Maarten Boffé mainly produces still lifes, but also paints figures, self-portraits, marines and landscapes. He sometimes interweaves almost imperceptible symbolist elements in his works.
