Eygelshoven Léon

Léon Eygelshoven was a Belgian artist, born and died in Brussels (1882-1967). He was a painter, pastelist, draftsman, graphic artist, etcher and designer of ex-libris. He received advice and support from Jean Laudy and also visited the Atelier La Patte de Dindon between 1912 and 1938. He realized figures, nudes and compositions. He was a member of La Gravure Originale Belge. Professionally he worked as a tailor in Brussels. He is mentioned in BAS I and Two centuries of signatures of Belgian artists. (piron)
