Schilderijen kopen van de Belgische kunstschilder Jean-Marc Lecocq

Lecocq Jean-Marc

Jean-Marc Lecocq is a Belgian painter, born in Carvin/France in 1945. He acquired Belgian nationality in 1975. He trained at the Academy in Roubaix/France. He leans towards surrealism and fantasy. He creates landscapes, flowers, fruits and birds. Sometimes he paints parts of the human body (for example the eye), which are depicted enlarged up to twenty times. He works accurately and has an eye for detail. He often works on gold or silver leaf. From the press: “J.M.L. paints with infinite patience and great refinement flowers on which flies rest for a moment, a dewdrop, and against the background a surrealistic or symbolic dream.” (H.B., 1988) Jean-Marc Lecocq exhibited in Brussels, in 1979 with Les Arts en Europe and in 1991 in the Présences gallery. He is mentioned in BAS I and Two centuries of signatures of Belgian artists. (Piron)
