
Kuczyński Edward
Edward Kuczyński (born October 20, 1905 in Worończa, died August 23, 1958 in Gdańsk) - Polish graphic artist specialized in woodblock prints, book illustrator (including for R. Wegner's Polish Publishing House and St. Wojciech's Printing and Bookstore), designer stamps, ex-libris and other applied images. He studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Stefan Batory University in Vilnius (1927–1934), and then started working as a drawing teacher at the School of Crafts and Artistic Industry. He received his degree in graphic design in 1939. After World War II, he worked in the Graphic Design Department of the University's Faculty of Fine Arts. (Wikipedia)
