Jules Pierre van Biesbroeck (Jr.) was a Belgian artist born in Portici, Italy in 1873 and died in Brussels in 1965. He was a painter, draftsman and sculptor. He was the son and student of Jules Van Biesbroeck (Sr.). He also studied at the Academy in Ghent. He preferred figures, landscapes and North African scenes with characters. He had a realistic style with very clear hues. As a sculptor he was a designer of, among other things, monuments, decorative works and funerary monuments. Work among others in the Museum in Ghent. (PIRON, RKD)
