Schilderijen kopen van de Belgische kunstenaar Henri Janlet

Janlet Henri

Henry Janlet was a Belgian artist, born in Brussels in 1857 and passed away in Uccle in 1935. He was a painter and watercolorist. He trained at the Academy in Brussels, where he studied under L. Artan, F. Courtens, and Van Severdonck. Janlet specialized mainly in landscapes, drawing inspiration from Flanders, Brabant, and the Netherlands. As a realistic plein-air painter, he often worked outdoors, which imparted a direct and lively atmosphere to his work. His paintings are characterized by a precise observation of nature and a strong commitment to realism. Janlet is listed in BAS I and Two Centuries of Signatures of Belgian Artists. (Piron, BT)
