Jamotte Victor

Victor Jamotte was a Belgian painter, born in Redu in 1941 and died in Lesse in 2018. He mainly painted marines and beach scenes with sloops. He was active in Watermael-Boitsfort. His work was reproduced in the Annuaire des Beaux-Arts II (1930–1931, p. 126). His paintings were auctioned several times at Horta in Brussels, including The Ponds at Boitsfort in 2001, Moored Sailboats in 2002 and Harbor View in 2004. He is listed in BAS II and in Two Centuries of Signatures of Belgian Artists (Piron).
