Ibou Paul

Paul Ibou (pseudonym of Paul Vermeersch) was a Belgian artist, born in Borgerhout in 1939 and died in Zoersel in 2023. He was a graphic artist, painter, designer and designer of posters. He trained at the Academy and at the Plantin Institute for Graphic Arts in Antwerp. He designed logos, posters, brochures, the layout for magazines and in 1967 a series of objects in plexiglass. In 1973 he published his first Ibou book. He also worked on commercials and feature films. (Piron)
