Wolff Heinrich

Heinrich Wolff was a German artist who was born in Nimptsch in 1875 and who died in Munich in 1940. He was a graphic artist and painter. He attended the State Academy of Arts and Crafts in Breslau from 1891, the Academy of Fine Arts (Berlin) from 1893 and finally the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich until 1900. There he became a member of the Society for Original Etchings and in 1901 he founded founded the first private graphic school together with the artist and inventor Ernst Neumann-Neander. Heinrich Wolff was a versatile graphic artist and painter. In addition to the graphic features of his work, he also made paintings, woodcuts and masterful silhouettes, which he published himself in the collection Tales of the Little Scissors.
