Goris An

An(na) Goris was a Belgian artist, born in Herentals in 1943 and passed away in Leuven in 1983. She was active as a printmaker. She received her education at the Academy in Leuven under the guidance of J. De Maegd and later furthered her studies in Prague. In 1974/1975, her work was acquired by the Belgian State. She was awarded the Delaunois Prize for engraving by the city of Leuven. An Goris worked as a teacher in Herentals. (Piron)
