Ger Maas was born February 4, 1931 in Wiltz in the Luxembourg Ardennes. Studies at the "Ecole Supérieure des Arts Modernes", Paris (1949-1951), at the "Akademie der Bildenden Künste", Munich (1952 - 1956) and at the "Schule des Sehens", Salzburg (1961) where she was the pupil of Oskar Kokoschka. Her first exhibition was in 1955 in Munich. Attached to the preservation of her independence, this artist has made her way, faithful to her choice of art, a reflection of her deep convictions. Her work has attracted the interest of the most diverse audiences both nationally and internationally.
