Steel Georges (Joris)

Georges (Joris) Steel was a Belgian painter born in Sleidinge in 1923 and died in Sijsele in 2010. He was the son of Leo Steel and the younger brother of Etienne Steel. He was educated at Sint Lucas in Ghent under the direction of G. Hermans and at the Higher Institute in Antwerp under the direction of Is. sum up.
