Gendebien Louis

Louis Gendebien was a Belgian painter, born in Brussels in 1882 and died in Villeneuve-Loubet/France in 1946. He painted landscapes, harbor views, marines, (Bruges) cityscapes, still lifes and flowers. He worked for a short time in Westkapelle. He took part in the Salon d'Automne in Brussels in February 1915. Work by Louis Gendebien can be found in the Museum in Brussels, among others. He is mentioned in BAS I and in Two centuries of signatruven by Belgian artists. (Piron)
