Geerinckx Frans
Frans Geerinckx was a Belgian artist, from the 20th century (1947-1999). He was a painter, draftsman, watercolorist and graphic artist. He realized landscapes, rural scenes, river and harbor views, portraits and still lifes. He is described as a late impressionist, belonging to the Dendermondse School. He exhibited in 't Hof te Puttens in Lede in 1983, in the municipal cultural center in Temse in 2007 and took part in the exhibition 'Het land van Filip De Pillecyn' in the Kunstcenter ID+ Art in Hamme in 2009. There is a bibliography of him; “Frans Geerinckx, a late impressionist” with poems by Hugo Van Geet, publisher Hauwere-Huau, Dendermonde, 2003. (Piron)
