Galland Agnès

Agnès Galland (pseudonym of Cleus, Nicole) is a Belgian painter, born in Uccle in 1942. She studied fine arts and took art history courses from 1960 to 1963. Afterwards, she worked as a decorator and window display designer. Since 1976, she has devoted herself entirely to painting. She loves the North Sea, and her seascapes, though powerfully executed, also reveal a sensitive and romantic temperament. She also paints poetic floral compositions. She is a member of the Cercle Uclois, with which she exhibited in Uccle in 1996. She is listed in BAS II and Two Centuries of Signatures of Belgian Artists (Piron).
