Constant Felix

Felix Constant (Felix Charles Constant) was a Belgian artist, born in Brussels in 1865 and died in Bruges in 1924. He was a painter and watercolourist. He was educated at the Academy in Brussels. In 1902 he visited an exhibition about the Flemish Primitives in Bruges and decided to settle in Bruges. He realized, among other things, Bruges cityscapes and interiors. Mostly he worked in watercolor. He had an impressionistic touch. He exhibited at the Salon des Beaux-Arts in Ostend in 1907 and at the 'Exposition universelle et Internationale de Bruxelles' in 1910.
