From the press: 'His recent etchings, realized by printing several plates over each other in different combinations, together yield a fascinating series of variants, whose mutual comparison is particularly revealing, both in terms of the process of creation itself and the technical realization' (1986) and 'He builds up structures, arranges motifs, carries color along with its rhythm, reaches an astonishing depth with an extreme limitation of means, applies touches of collage in a multipliable discipline that only has one copy.” (1997) Was a teacher at the Academy in Dendermonde from 1971 to 1981 and from 1978 at the Academy in Ghent.
