Schürmann E. R.

E. R. Schürmann was a German artist born in 1898 in Düsseldorf and died between 1950 and 1960. He is mainly known for his seascapes. He spent a long time at the Kunstacademie in Düsseldorf and at the École des beaux-arts in Paris. He was one of the master's students of Professor Eduard von Gebhardt, Hans Bordt and Willy Stöwer. In the late 1920s he traveled a lot, including a trip around the world and various study trips.
