Duyn Willy
Willy Duyn was a Belgian artist, born in Brussels in 1936 and died in Alicante/Spain in 1986. He was a painter, graphic artist, ceramist and sculptor. Willy Duyn was born of Dutch parents who lived in Belgium. He was educated at Sint-Lucas and at Ter Kameren in Brussels. He realized scenes from Flemish farm life, figures, portraits and still lifes. He exhibited in the Rubens gallery in Brussels in 1962 and 1963 and from 1964 he worked exclusively for the Isy Brachot gallery. He is mentioned in BAS I and Two centuries of signatures of Belgian artists. (Piron)
