Schilderijen van de Belgische schilder Dirk Vanoverberghe

Vanoverberghe Dirk (Dirk Vano)

Dirk Vanoverberghe or Dirk Vano is a Belgian artist born in Avelgem in 1953. He is a painter. French-language higher education in plastic arts at Sint-Lucas in Tournai. Established in Bruges in 1974 and continued his education at the Academy. He is always attracted to old art cities. During and especially after his studies he traveled from one art city to another and found inspiration in the cityscape effortlessly. He painted, among other things, picturesque streets and typical squares that testify to a keen observation, a precise sense of the atmosphere of the moment and a poetic attitude. Sporadically also paints landscapes, forest scenes and portraits with an impressionist touch. Exhibited in the Ter Plaetse gallery in Kwaremont/Kluisbergen in 2001.
