Kunstwerken kopen van de Belgische kunstenaar Albert Debois

Debois Albert

Albert De Bois (Debois) was a Belgian artist born in Antwerp in 1938 and passed away in 2010 (?). He was a painter, draftsman, watercolorist, graphic artist, sculptor, and designer of plexiglass reliefs. He studied at the State Normal School in Ghent under the guidance of O. Landuyt and at the Institute for Decorative Arts in Antwerp. He held his first solo exhibition in 1957. From 1968, he began designing linear reliefs in canvas, aluminum, copper, and wood, as well as folded plexiglass reliefs. From 1971, he added plexiglass portraits to his repertoire. Between 1973 and 1975, he produced several lithographs and refined his skills in graphic arts in Milan. His graphic works and drawings stylize and transform reality into fluid, poetic, and sensual shapes and figures. From 1959 to 1972, he taught visual arts. His works are found in the museums in Antwerp, Bruges, and Brussels. Albert De Bois is listed in "Two Centuries of Signatures of Belgian Artists." (Piron)
