De Walsche Alphonse

Alphonse De Walsche was a Belgian artist who was born in Maldegem in 1828 and died in 1912 in Brussels. He was a painter and draftsman. Education at the Academies in Geraardsbergen and Ghent. Settled in Brussels. Painted landscapes, figures, portraits, still lifes. Took part in the Antwerp Salon in 1861 (The potato harvest).
