De Rycke Fernande
Fernande De Rycke (wife Parmentier) was a Belgian painter, born in Ghent in 1913 and died in Dilbeek in 2001. She studied in Ghent, where she obtained a first prize in the still life class. She painted landscapes, figures and still lifes. In 1949 she settled in Ixelles and later in Dilbeek. Professionally, she worked as a milliner. She was a member of the art circle Kunst en Kennis in Ghent. She is mentioned in the Lexicon of East Flanders Painters and Sculptors 1700–1940 (Daniël Van Ryssel, 2008) (Piron).
