De Leers Emile

Emile De Leers was a Belgian painter, born in Borght-Lombeek in 1919 and died in Mechelen in 2004. He was an oil painter. He was a member of the Kunstkring Lazernij in Rumst. From the press: “In the world of painting, he is more of a self-made man who, through hard work, has mastered a remarkable technique step by step. Which allows him to express his inner feelings pictorially. His drawings and paintings are always figurative. With his work he persistently proves that romanticism endures, even in a time when values and norms are shifting so quickly. Emile De Leers also provides proof that he is always looking for beauty.
