Albert De Cooman (Geraardsbergen 1927 - 2007 Zandbergen). Painter, etcher. Son of Jan De Cooman. Self-taught. Debuted in 1979. Finds his inspiration mainly in the landscape. Worked for Union Minière in Congo from 1953 to 1967. (Piron)
