De Blieck Marc

Marc De Blieck is a Belgian artist, born in Sint-Niklaas in 1958. He is a painter, draughtsman and photographer. He studied at the Academy in Sint-Niklaas under the guidance of A. Roelant. He was selected for 'Lijn/Kleur/Volume 1979'.
From the press: “The photographic work of M.D.B. ranges from classically styled black-and-white contact prints, to digital stereo photos and analogue double exposures, to computer animations of image files. In this diversity of forms, a constant shifting seems to manifest itself. An oeuvre that glides around and along vistas and motifs, without ever offering a view of insight.”
Work by Marc De Blieck was acquired by the Flemish Community in 1992/1993. He works in Brussels. (Piron)
