
Crespin Louis Charles
Louis Charles Crespin was a Belgian painter, born in Sint-Joost-ten-Node in 1892 and died in Brussels in 1953. He received his education at the Academy in Brussels (1909-1914). He created portraits and (church) interiors. He also worked as a designer of cartoons for stained glass. He exhibited, among others, at the World Exhibition in Ghent in 1913 and at the Salons in Ghent in 1925 and 1929. His works can be found, among other places, in the Charlier Museum in Brussels. He is mentioned in BAS I and Two Centuries of Signatures of Belgian Artists. (Piron)
