Zammiello Craig

Craig Zammiello is an American artist born in 1955 in New York. He is a master printer and artist. Describes himself as “Printer-Artist-Educator-Teacher-Mentor”. Received a Master of Fine Arts degree from New York University in 1995. He worked for Universal Limited Art Editions (NY) for 25 years. There he collaborated with Jasper Johns, Elizabeth Murray, James Rosenquist, Kiki Smith and Robert Rauschenberg. He gave several workshops in the US and Europe, including at New York University , Yale University, the Flanders Arts Institute in Antwerp/Belgium in 1998 and 2014, the Frans Masereel Center in 1990. Made or assisted in several films, including a short film about the photogravure process with a print by Chuck Close. In 2012, he co-authored the book Conversations from the Print Studio (2012, Yale University Art Gallery Publication) with Elisabeth Hordamosky. Zammiello is currently employed as an assistant on the faculty of the Art School at Columbia University. His works can be found in the art gallery of Yale University/USA, the Leopold-Hoesch Museum in Düren/Germany, the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp/Belgium, among others. (BT 2022)
