Commerman Guy

Guy Commerman (Antwerp, 1938 - 2019 Antwerp) · Painter, pastelist, draftsman, poet. Gained fame through his 'sopart', socially-poetic inspired art, leaning towards American cartoons. Was a member of the Kring Het Pentagram, founded in Antwerp in 1950, together with Leon Smets, Marcel Mazy, and Piet Serneels, among others. Exhibited, among others, at the Lacombe Art Gallery in Kortrijk in 1984. (Piron)
